Description
The Kuriyama Tigerflex ECHW Series is a versatile standard-duty PVC suction hose designed for agricultural irrigation, water suction, liquid fertilizer, pumps, dewatering, and general fluid-transfer applications. Its lightweight, flexible construction makes it a practical choice for everyday agricultural and commercial pumping applications where a dependable suction hose is required.
The EHCW Series is constructed with a PVC tube reinforced by a rigid PVC helix. The rigid helix provides structural support to help prevent the hose from collapsing under vacuum while maintaining the flexibility needed for installation around pumps, irrigation systems, and other equipment.
The hose features transparent construction, allowing operators to visually monitor material flow through the line. This can be especially useful on pump suction applications where operators need to identify air pockets, flow interruptions, or other problems.
Sizes 3/4″ through 5″ have a smooth outer cover, providing a smooth surface for banding and helping increase pressure capability. The larger 6″ and 8″ sizes feature a convoluted outer cover for improved flexibility and handling.
Kuriyama rates the ECHW Series for an application-dependent operating temperature range of -4°F to +150°F (-20°C to +65°C). The hose is available in sizes from 3/4″ through 8″ ID and is manufactured in the USA.
