According to a recent article on Mlive.com, 145 million Americans are currently experiencing some level of drought conditions. “Today the U.S. Drought Monitor says 84 percent of the U.S. area is in a drought status from abnormally dry to exceptional drought, the most severe ranking of drought. This also means only 16 percent of the U.S. has no drought situation.”
