1″ Insert x 3/4″ MPT Adapter is used to couple a 1″ rigid hose to a 3/4″ FPT (female pipe thread) fitting. Along with coupling the hose with a threaded fitting, it also reduces or increases in size between a 1″ O.D. (outside diameter) opening to a 3/4″ O.D.
