This 45 Degree Female Thread Foot Valve is made out of lightweight and durable aluminum.

This 45 degree foot valve attaches to a NPT thread end; hose, steel pipe, or PVC.

Note: Every valve will leak if there is no head pressure pushing down and sealing the flapper.  Head pressure comes from the vertical down pressure of the volume of water above the valve.  The weight of the 4 vertical feet of head pressure will push down and seal the valve. Below is a diagram showing how to measure the four feet of vertical lift from the water surface up to the centerline of the pump.
