Heavy rain in some areas of the United States has stopped the spring planting of wheat, while other US markets continue to fight drought conditions. In Kansas, the biggest wheat producer in the US, many farmers are opting to leave their wheat crops in the field, not bothering to harvest their drought damaged crops. US Wheat Crop in Trouble

Other markets, like North Dakota, are struggling to get their spring planting done due to an abundance of rain and late snows.
