Risers manufactured by IACO are made of ¾” O.D. x .058 wall drawn type II aluminum 6063-T832, in lengths required by the purchaser. End fittings are made of swedge-fit die cast zinc alloy (Zamac #3: 40,000 psi tensile, 60,000 psi yield-compression), threaded to American Standard Pipe Thread (NPT) standards, with all threads clean and full.

- The design of thrust-blocking requires knowledge of the thrust generated and the bearing strength of the soil against which the thrust block will be placed.

- contact the fitting over a sufficiently large area so as not to create stress points on the fitting.
- have sufficient area on the soil to restrain the thrust without exceeding the bearing strength of the soil.
- Supply line 3" in diameter and larger shall receive concrete thrust blocks. Please research specifications for amount of concrete to be used for thrust block.
