PVC has excellent chemical and corrosion resistance to a broad range of fluids including water, deionized water, most mineral acids, bases, salts and paraffinic hydrocarbon solutions. PVC is not recommended for use with chlorinated or aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, or polar solvents such as ketones. Spears® PVC materials conform to ASTM Cell Classification 12454 (formerly designated as Type I, Grade 1). The maximum recommended service temperature of PVC products is 140° F (60° C).

Sale!Amiad Hydraulic Fertilizer Injector
- Amiad hydraulic fertilizer injector is constructed from corrosion and chemical resistant materials. The unit is resistant to nearly all known chemicals presently used in agriculture and horticulture.
- Amiad hydraulic fertilizer injector needs no external power to operate. Its linear hydraulic motor is powered by the hydraulic pressure of the irrigation system. The injector uses this pressure as the energy source for injecting fertilizer to the pressurized irrigation lines.
- Liquid fertilizer enters the injector through the Suction Port and is injected to the downstream irrigation line through the injection line.
- The water consumption of the hydraulic motor is 3 times the quantity of the chemical injected and can produce an injection rate of up to 1.4 gpm (320 liter/hour). The Injector is supplied ready to operate. The user has to supply two ¾” manual valves, one for the Drive-water port and the other for the Injection port. A 25 mm drainage line should be also connected to the injector’s Water-exhaust port.
- Since the injection rate is proportional to the irrigation line pressure, the required injection rate can be adjusted by throttling the injection line using the ¾” manual valve on the injection port.
- The volume of fertilizer injected at each pulse is 33 cc; therefore the hourly rate of injected fertilizer in liter/hour is easily calculated by counting the actual number of pulses per minute and multiplying this number by two.
- Amiad also supplies very accurate chemical resistant flow regulators, ranging between 2.6 gallons (10 liter) and 21.1 gallons (80 liter) per hour.
- The Flow Regulator assembly contains interchangeable color coded flow regulators to be installed in the chemical injection line. The flow regulator assembly also contains a chemical resistant filter for preventing the flow regulators from clogging.

This assembly comes with the 6" OPTIFLUX 4100 body, flow converter and 30' cable. 6" OPTIFLUX 4100 Body by KROHNE The OPTIFLUX 4100 is an electromagnetic flowmeter (EMF) for a wide range of standard process applications with aggressive and abrasive liquids. It enables reliable flow measurement even under harsh process conditions with temperatures up to +180°C / +356°F, low conductivity (≥5 µS/cm) and solid content (up to 10%). This makes the flowmeter particularly suitable for applications involving corrosive chemicals, sewage and drilling mud or mining sludge. Installation in measurement chambers subject to (constant) flooding is also possible using the optional IP68 / NEMA 6P rated version. Unlike the basic version OPTIFLUX 4050, the OPTIFLUX 4100 features higher accuracy. It comes with a selection of chemically resistant liners and electrodes. Due to its full bore design without moving or intruding parts, there is no pressure loss and no maintenance required. A full on-site verification of the flowmeter without process interruption can be carried out using the OPTICHECK service tool. The IFC 100 is a 4-wire electromagnetic signal converter. Combined with the flow sensors of the OPTIFLUX and WATERFLUX series it forms the OPTIFLUX 1100, OPTIFLUX 2100, OPTIFLUX 4100, OPTIFLUX 5100, OPTIFLUX 6100 and WATERFLUX 3100 electromagnetic flowmeters for standard applications with conductive liquids.

- The design of thrust-blocking requires knowledge of the thrust generated and the bearing strength of the soil against which the thrust block will be placed.
- To be effective, a thrust block must:
- be placed against undisturbed or fully compacted earth.
- contact the fitting over a sufficiently large area so as not to create stress points on the fitting.
- have sufficient area on the soil to restrain the thrust without exceeding the bearing strength of the soil.
- Supply line 3" in diameter and larger shall receive concrete thrust blocks. Please research specifications for amount of concrete to be used for thrust block.
