Sale!A backwash pressure of 45 PSI is required (nozzles on two sides) How these strainers work: A small amount of water is returned from the discharge side of the pump to the strainer. Inside, two special nozzles spray against the screen, causing it to revolve. Any debris (e.g., algae, aquatic plants, or leaves) attracted to the screen is blasted off every half revolution. Strainers operate in any position, and require only 35 psi to operate. Eliminate Hot Spots: These strainers are designed with internal PVC suction tube with smaller holes at the top, (nearer to the pump), and larger holes at the bottom (farther from the pump) to even the draw or suction across the entire height of the cylinder screen. This prevents water from flowing in harder at the top of the screen, which leads to “hot spots.” (Clogging). This assembly comes with the 6" OPTIFLUX 4100 body, flow converter and 30' cable. 6" OPTIFLUX 4100 Body by KROHNE The OPTIFLUX 4100 is an electromagnetic flowmeter (EMF) for a wide range of standard process applications with aggressive and abrasive liquids. It enables reliable flow measurement even under harsh process conditions with temperatures up to +180°C / +356°F, low conductivity (≥5 µS/cm) and solid content (up to 10%). This makes the flowmeter particularly suitable for applications involving corrosive chemicals, sewage and drilling mud or mining sludge. Installation in measurement chambers subject to (constant) flooding is also possible using the optional IP68 / NEMA 6P rated version. Unlike the basic version OPTIFLUX 4050, the OPTIFLUX 4100 features higher accuracy. It comes with a selection of chemically resistant liners and electrodes. Due to its full bore design without moving or intruding parts, there is no pressure loss and no maintenance required. A full on-site verification of the flowmeter without process interruption can be carried out using the OPTICHECK service tool. The IFC 100 is a 4-wire electromagnetic signal converter. 1/2" Inline Fertilizer Injector Assembly includes a Venturi injector, a suction line kit (a piece of water tube, a flow controller and a filter) and the fittings required to convert it to 3/4" MHT x 3/4" FHT to enable easy connection to a 3/4" garden hose. This assembly can be used with our Gator 250 and Gator 1000 Drip Irrigation Kits. The Gator 100 is not large enough to enable the injector to work properly. We recommend a minimum flow rate of 1.5 gallons per minute. This kit now includes an atmospheric vacuum breaker, to prevent any potential backflow of fertilizer!

How the Mini Sigma Filter Works How to Install the Mini Sigma Annual Maintenance Kit The Filtration Process Raw water enters through the filter inlet and passes through the screen. Clean water flows through the filter outlet. The gradual dirt buildup on the screen’s inner surface causes a filter cake to develop, creating an increase in the pressure differential across the filter system. A differential pressure (DP) switch senses the pressure differential and when it reaches a pre-set level, the self-cleaning process begins. The Control System - Amiad’s NEW ADI-P Controller Amiad’s ADI-P controller offers a one-of-a-kind monitoring and control functionality. The controller interacts with Amiad’s advanced, user-friendly app that provides detailed filtration performance data on your mobile phone device. The self-cleaning mechanism is controlled and monitored by the ADI-P controller. The self-cleaning cycle is triggered by an integrated DP switch. The ADI-P controller and mobile app also provide: • DP and flush cycle counters • Alerts – low/high pressures, low battery • Reports and performance history data The Self-Cleaning Process The self-cleaning cycle is initiated by any one of the following conditions: 1. Sale!PC Emitter (CNL Feature) is an emitter with a separate barb for inlet and outlet installations. PC stands for Pressure Compensating while CNL stands for Closed No Leak. These emitters open at 5.5 PSI and close at 4.3 PSI. Sold in packs of 100 each. These Emitters (Pressure Compensating) deliver a consistent output of water, even with changes in pressure due to long runs of drip tubing or elevation changes, and come in .5 GPH (Blue), 1.0 GPH (Green), and 2.0 GPH (Red) sizes. This emitter may be inserted in 1/2" supply tubing by using a 1/4" punch tool or installed at the end of 1/4" distribution tubing or 1/4" dripper line due to its 1/4" barb (also known as a 250 barb) on one end. An emitter like this allows you to get water to exact locations unlike drip tubing which has built-in emitters spaced evenly in the tubing. For example, you could have a 1/2" distribution tubing running through your landscape bed. If a planting is near this tubing, you can insert an emitter near the planting. Another option is to install a 1/4" insert coupler in the 1/2" distribution tubing to connect a 1/4" dripper line to it. This line can then be run in and around plantings. At the end of the dripper line, install an emitter. This will allow you to irrigate the area. There are multiple options for installation using dripper line, distribution tubing and emitters.
